Branzino vs Jane

Love Jane's booking? Keep the booking. Lose the per-practitioner math.

Jane is deservedly liked by physios, chiropractors and massage clinics, and its online booking is excellent. Its price climbs with every practitioner you add, insurance billing is an add-on, and there's no e-prescribing at all. Branzino is $29 per provider with the whole product in it.

The honest version

Where each one wins

Where Jane wins

  • Polished, well-loved booking and front-desk experience with years of refinement.
  • Phone support and a complimentary onboarding call.
  • A large, active community of allied-health clinics, plus Jane Payments and Jane Websites in one place.
  • Balance plan at $54 for a true solo, low-volume practice.
  • Track record — a decade in market against our one year.

Where Branzino wins

  • One price per provider. Jane's $79 Practice plan covers one practitioner; each additional full-timer is $35 more, and $40 on Thrive.
  • e-Prescribing exists: $10 per prescriber. Jane doesn't offer it, which rules it out for injectors, NPs and DPC physicians.
  • Insurance billing with eligibility, claim scrubbing, ERA auto-posting and a denial worklist as a $40 add-on, not a $20 add-on plus per-practitioner fees.
  • Clinical depth for medical practices: vitals, ICD-10, structured notes, labs, CareRAG chart assistant with citations.
  • Memberships, prepaid packages and card-on-file for med spas and DPC, and a native patient app.
Who should stay with Jane

If you're a massage, physio or chiropractic clinic that runs on Jane's booking and never needs to prescribe, and phone support matters to you, Jane is a very good fit and you should probably stay. Our case is strongest when you add practitioners, bill insurance, or need clinical depth Jane doesn't have.

Questions people ask when leaving Jane

Can I keep taking bookings online after I switch?

Yes. Every practice gets a public booking page with intake completed up front, plus a QR code and an embed for your own website. Patients can also book from the Branzino app.

Do you support packages and memberships like Jane?

Yes — prepaid packages that draw down per visit, monthly and annual memberships that auto-renew, and card-on-file.

I'm a med spa with a nurse injector. Why does e-prescribing matter?

Because a prescriber on your team needs to send prescriptions somewhere. Jane has no e-prescribing, so that runs in a second system. In Branzino it's a $10 add-on inside the chart.

Are you ONC-certified?

No. Certification matters if you bill Medicare or Medicaid under programs that require certified technology. For a practice that bills patients directly it has no bearing on charting, prescribing or HIPAA. Who actually needs it →

How long have you been around?

We started building Branzino in early 2025 and opened it to practices in summer 2026. We're early and we say so. Who's behind it →
